Hot Pink for MSFW

The lights for Melbourne's fashion night out call for hot pink.

Fashion week has always been something I've followed for many years. But it's always been behind the keyboard. From Paris and Milan to London and New York, I've sat back and watched enough of it from the screen.

Australia is a little far off, and getting over to Europe, or even just New York, is quite costly. So watching the coverage on some of my favourite publications gets you up front and centre on some of the best fashion shows at any season. Watching Ralph Lauren, Karl Lagerfeld, Raf Simons and more of my idols show us where fashion is going is thrilling.

But seeing the excitement first hand is even better. Making out to MSFW (Melbourne Spring Fashion Week) opening for Fashion Night Out was awesome. I got to see some of the talent that Melbourne is pouring out into the world of fashion is incredible, and let me tell you what, the kids do alright!

What I wore? Well I started with my handy ol' pal (leather jacket), in which I have been absolutely inseparable. Paired with a long sleeve striped tee (white and tan) and blue jeans, the outfit is finished off cleanly with a pair of leather loafers.

What I Wore:

Leather Jacket - Jack London
Shirt - Assembly Label
Denim - Edwin Jeans
Shoes - Aquila Loafers
Glasses - Rayban
