London long gone, Pitti Uomo a distant memory, Milan a thing of the past and Paris gone with the wind, it's now New York's time to shine. With the summer sun busting out, the crowd brought heat in the best summer layers to prove America's fashion capital had something to say. Europe may have all the tradition, but New York has the modern edge. Fashionistas alike wore a nice mix of modern and traditional pieces to bring a cool edge, furthering the trends of Paris to the concrete jungle

Light and breathable layers dominated, from cool open buttoned shirts and light blazers to plenty of t-shirts and accessories rocking the majority of looks. Simple yet head-turning. From Dune Studios to Skylight Clarkson Sq, an amazing mix of styles covered the street. High-fashion met streetwear in a more modern twist with pieces from VLONE, Saint Laurent, Givenchy and Louis Vuitton playing a major part of the brands worn, along with Heron Preston 'Bird' tees paired with track pants and Old Skools.

From day one right through to closing, the trends continued. But enough of my rambling. I'll leave it short and sweet. I've collated some of my favourite looks from NYC above; take a peep, I dare you!
